The primary aim for GMT is to provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for gay / bi men of all ages and backgrounds.

New people come along all the time, and we have members who have been around since the beginning of the group.

Each week we have a different activity - ranging from quizzes, musical appreciation nights, film nights, fun and serious discussions, creative and social evenings. And to help get everyone talking over a coffee, the first Wednesday of every month is our "At Home" evening, when we just talk or maybe play cards or other board games in a really friendly, convivial atmosphere.

Outside the Wednesday evenings, we have a monthly outdoor event - days out to a variety of places. Recent destinations have included Whitby, Scarborough, Alston, Kielder and York, ad we're looking to run many more events next year.
